Job Description

The Business Development Executive is a pivotal role in the success of an organization, responsible for driving growth and developing strategies to win new business. This position requires an individual with excellent communication skills, a keen understanding of market trends, and the ability to build relationships with prospective clients. Responsibilities

  • Identify potential business opportunities through market research and analysis.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present compelling business proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and tactics.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable deals.
  • Track and report on sales activity and performance against established targets.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell or cross-sell existing clients.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and represent the company.
  • Analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor junior sales and business development staff members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Business Development Executive or similar role.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a deep understanding of sales principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend business events.
