We are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated Business Development Consultant to join our Business Development team in Dubai. The role involves identifying, developing, and qualifying new business opportunities in the Middle East region
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Participate in prospecting, identifying, and qualifying any potential clients.
Contribute to generating new business revenues and participate in new business pitches.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline in assigned accounts across the Middle East region
Participate in shaping the business strategy, planning, marketing, positioning, and selling of the software suite within assigned accounts.
Assist in preparing compelling RFP responses, client presentations, demos, and proposals.
Contribute to the formulation of the business plan and "Go to Market" strategy, actively participating in marketing events and related budget planning.
Focus on generating new business, play an active role in new business pitches and be responsible for the effective onboarding of new clients.
Provide consistent reports and updates on the sales pipeline and forecasts.
Collaborate with the Head of Customer Success to pinpoint additional opportunities within the customer base and actively participate in the sales process for up-sell and cross-sell of additional software modules.
Ensure precise and timely pipeline reporting, updating CRM regularly with the latest client developments.
Actively monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving market dynamics.
CANDIDATE PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
Degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or equivalent from a leading university.
2 to 5 years of experience in sales with an enterprise software solution provider, preferably within the financial services sector.
Proven exposure to Middle East market particularly KSA and Kuwait is required
Existing regional network across banking & financial institutions in the GCC is preferred.
Experience with enterprise length complex sales cycles is preferred.
Good understanding of key aspects of client relationship management and account management.
Knowledge of Go-to-Market planning and sales forecasts.
Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot.
Knowledge of credit scoring, risk management, loan origination, decision engine and collection is preferable.
A client-focused mindset with strong negotiation skills and a grasp of effective sales techniques.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking & time management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment & across all levels of the organization.
Excellent command of English and Arabic (both oral and written).
