Job Description
Commodity Trading House - Oil & Gas
A leading international trading house is seeking an experienced Business Developer to join its Dubai office. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in commodity trading with a minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.
- Identify and develop new oil and gas opportunities particularly in East Africa
- Negotiate contracts and manage deal execution
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings
- Monitor market trends, pricing and competitor activity to support commercial decisions
- Strong commercial and relationship building skills within the oil and gas sector
- Minimum 4 years experience in physical commodity trading (oil and gas)
- Fluent in English - French highly desirable
- Proven Business Development experience in East African markets
- Ability to identify and execute new trading opportunities, manage counterparties and support deal flow
- Strong understanding of trading operations, contracts and risk management
