Job Description
As a Business Developer, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing outbound leads, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving opportunities to closure. You will be responsible for prospecting new clients through various channels, including LinkedIn, networking events, and professional societies. You will then work closely with our internal solutioning team to conduct discovery workshops, develop tailored solutions, and drive post-meeting activities to secure new business opportunities.
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify outbound leads within corporate, commercial, and enterprise sectors through LinkedIn, outreach, networking events, and professional associations.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture relationships with C-suite executives, marketing directors, and key decision-makers in target accounts.
Client Meetings & Discovery: Lead initial client meetings alongside the solutioning team, conduct discovery workshops to understand client objectives, challenges, and budget parameters.
Solution Development: Collaborate with creative, production, and technology teams to develop customized proposals that align with client needs and demonstrate clear ROI.
Deal Closure: Drive end-to-end sales cycle from first contact through contract negotiation and closure, achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized sales pipeline in CRM, providing regular forecasts and updates on opportunities, win rates, and market intelligence.
Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in experiential marketing to identify new business opportunities and refine sales strategies.
Event Representation: Represent Rayqube at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand visibility and generate leads.
Essential
7+ years proven experience in business development or B2B sales within events, experiential marketing, advertising, or related industries
Strong track record of meeting/exceeding revenue targets and closing 6-7 figure deals
Deep understanding of the GCC corporate events landscape and buyer personas
Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities in English (Arabic is a strong plus)
Proficiency in CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and sales pipeline management
Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Valid UAE residence visa or eligibility to obtain one
Preferred:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Existing network within UAE/GCC corporate sector, commercial entities, or retail markets
Experience with experiential technology solutions (AR/VR, interactive installations, hybrid events)
Willingness to travel within GCC and internationally as needed
