As a Business Analyst – Maintenance Management, you will be the key link between our maintenance operations and the technical teams supporting the IBM Maximo Maintenance Management System. Your work will ensure that maintenance and asset‑related processes are translated into practical, effective system capabilities that enhance planning, execution, and governance. You’ll collaborate with planners, engineers, reliability teams, and operational leaders to understand challenges, improve workflows, and define system requirements that strengthen safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations. This position is a full-time role based in our Dubai office and is offered as a two-year fixed-term contract.

In This Role, You Will

  • Analyse and enhance maintenance and asset‑related business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and system alignment.
  • Lead system‑related change management, ensuring updates in Maximo and related platforms are implemented smoothly with strong data integrity.
  • Prepare and analyse labour, equipment, and maintenance performance reports to support both short‑ and long‑term planning and budgeting.
  • Review maintenance and system data to identify issues, determine root causes, and recommend improvement actions.
  • Work with IT teams, operations stakeholders, and system users to introduce enhancements and optimise functionality.
  • Gather requirements, develop functional specifications, and assess the feasibility and impact of proposed enhancements.
  • Oversee work‑order and maintenance processes to ensure best‑practice standards, high‑quality data, and accurate cost tracking.
  • Provide user support and training to strengthen system adoption across maintenance teams.
  • Mentor less‑experienced colleagues and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive), IT, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maintenance or Fleet Management within an engineering‑ or technical‑related environment.
  • Experience with Ground Support Equipment (GSE) or Material Handling Equipment maintenance is an advantage
  • Strong data analysis capabilities and ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the implementation and rollout of maintenance management systems (ideally IBM Maximo), including delivering user training, supporting system adoption, and guiding teams through process and system changes.
  • Advanced planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with IT systems and general computer literacy.
  • Strong technical writing, supervisory abilities, customer‑management skills, and safety awareness.

You Will Have An Edge, If You Have

  • You have hands‑on experience with IBM Maximo or another maintenance management system.
  • You have operational knowledge of aviation ground handling or GSE environments.
  • You’ve improved processes across work orders, preventive maintenance, inventory, or asset lifecycle management.
  • You are experienced in requirement gathering, business process re‑engineering, user training, or UAT.
  • You work confidently with engineers, planners, reliability teams, and operations leaders.
  • You bring a problem‑solving, curious, and improvement‑driven mindset.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, fast‑paced operational environment.
