Job Description

The Business Analyst - HR acts as a specialized liaison between the Human Resources department and the IT division. This role focuses on translating complex HR policies, labor regulations, and organizational workflows into robust digital system requirements, ensuring that all HRIS initiatives are compliant, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements related to comprehensive HR processes including employee lifecycle, payroll integration, and employee self-service.
  • Translate HR policies, labor regulations, internal controls, and governance requirements into clear and testable functional and non-functional system requirements.
  • Partner closely with HR stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are accurately interpreted and successfully implemented.
  • Support HR digital initiatives and ERP/HR system enhancements from the initial requirement gathering phase through design, testing, and deployment.
  • Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability linking HR policies and business rules to system configurations, integrations, and reports.
  • Ensure HR system designs support necessary approval workflows, segregation of duties (SoD), audit trails, and reporting accuracy.
  • Prepare and maintain process documentation, functional specifications, and operational manuals for all HR systems.
  • Execute all tasks in accordance with standard Business Analyst general responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong preference for candidates with HRIS experience.
  • Deep understanding of the employee lifecycle, organization management, and HR system management.
  • Solid familiarity with labor regulations, employment policies, and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to document functional and non-functional requirements, internal controls, and complex approval workflows.
  • High level of sensitivity and awareness regarding Data Privacy and Personal Data Protection.
  • Exceptional ability to act as a bridge between HR and IT teams to facilitate effective communication and solution delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on HR process optimization.
  • Willingness to work On-Site (WFO).
