Job Description

The role of a Business Analyst is pivotal in helping organizations improve their processes, services, and products. Acting as the liaison between stakeholders and IT departments, a Business Analyst is tasked with understanding the business needs and translating them into technical requirements. This position is integral to business intelligence, as they must analyze data trends, develop financial models, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. In doing so, the Business Analyst contributes to effective strategic planning and the realization of business goals. The ideal candidate is skilled in problem-solving, communication, and possesses a deep understanding of industry practices and methodologies such as Agile and SCRUM.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed business analysis to understand processes and identify requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and oversee project lifecycles from initiation to completion.
  • Liaise between stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure that solutions meet project deliverables, including timeframes and budget constraints.
  • Utilize data analysis tools to gather and interpret complex data for better decision-making.
  • Prepare and deliver informative, well-organized presentations and reports as necessary.
  • Facilitate design sessions with the client to define business requirements and processes.
  • Conduct market analyses to develop and execute business plans and strategies.
  • Document system processes and update as necessary to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications promptly and accurately.
  • Identify risks and manage strategies to mitigate potential project roadblocks.
  • Continuously research and review trends to maintain an understanding of emerging technological opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years working experience in a business analysis or related role.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools and methodologies like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
  • Experience working within Agile or SCRUM environments would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
