SUMMARY

Manager of Middle east subsidiary, managing the below mentioned departments.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following.

Customer Care

Manage And Coordinates Activities Of Customer Care

  • Quotation handling and entry.
  • Order handling and entry.
  • Open order follow up.
  • Monitoring of large quotations.
  • Employee Performance.

Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow. Authorizes holidays and monitors Sickness Issues written and oral instructions. Responsible for efficient and prompt processing of orders and correspondence. Corresponds with customers for specific problems or items related to the Sales. Monitors on a daily basis the open order book and make sure that customer care is taking the right action towards the different departments within the company. Organize Training seminars related to M3 and Product Training for the Branch employees Liaise with customers and field sales for specific demands.

Distribution

Responsible for the Inbound of the materials in cooperation with our Logistic Dept. On Time delivery of goods by using the correct Outbound freight forwarders. Reviews documents to ensure that assigned classifications and tariffs are in accordance with mode of transportation and destination of shipment. Investigate shipper or consignee complaints regarding lost or damaged merchandise or shortages in shipment to determine responsibility. Directs preparation of claims against carrier responsible and corresponds with shipper or consignee to effect settlement. Schedules shipments to ensure compliance with international traffic laws and regulations and company policies. Negotiates prices with the forwarder with the assistance of our Logistic Dept Controls transport invoices. Liaise with customers and field sales for specific demands. Prepare export documents.

Quality

Manage the documents related to quality for the subsidiary manager, and participates actively to the quality improvement program in coordination with Quality manager EMEA Coordinates incoming inspection if needed.

Warehouse

Organizes, supervises and directs the work of warehouse personnel engaged in receiving and delivering inventoried products. Coordinates pickup and delivery schedules for truck drivers with transport department. Inspects warehouse facilities and equipment and recommends changes in allocation of space, and storage procedures. Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Negotiates plans and proposes purchase of moving equipment such as forklifts, etc… Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing. Directs salvage of damaged or used material. Participates in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities. Investigates customers' complaints involving such matters as damaged items, overcharges, and delay in shipment, and makes necessary adjustment. Examines items to be moved, to ascertain approximate weights and type of packaging required. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes subordinates to ensure compliance with standards. Measures and evaluates skill level of subordinates, and plans training accordingly. Arranges for disposal of surplus materials, obsolete and slow moving stock. Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory. Organize and coordinates the physical inventory during the year (Period or Cycle count) and document this for audit reasons.

Supply Chain

Close cooperation with sales to improve the On Time Delivery. Regular meetings with Sales Management. Monitor forecast orders and action towards sales. Monitor and takes action related to the excess and slow, non-moving inventory.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

College degree, or similar through experience. warehousing and traffic experience required. People skills as well as good organizational skills.

Language Skills

Is fluent in language of country of operation and English. Any other language is an asset.
