BIM Modeler – High Voltage (HV)

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeler – High Voltage (HV) to support the design and coordination of high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects. The role involves developing accurate 3D models, producing coordinated drawings, and ensuring compliance with project standards and industry codes.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain BIM models for HV substations, switchyards, and transmission systems.

Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using BIM software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks).

Coordinate with electrical engineers, civil teams, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Ensure models comply with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and QA/QC procedures.

Participate in clash detection and resolve coordination issues.

Extract quantities and generate construction documentation from BIM models.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

7-8 years of BIM modeling experience in high-voltage or substation projects.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks is preferred.

Strong understanding of HV equipment layouts, cable routing, and substation design.

Knowledge of BIM standards and documentation practices.

Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.

Preferred

Experience with international power utility standards.

Familiarity with ISO/BIM execution plans (BEP).
