BIM Modeler/ Draughtsman 17D25

As a BIM Modeler/ Draughtsman, you will play a critical role in the design and construction industry by creating, managing, and maintaining Building Information Models (BIM) to support digital collaboration and integration across projects. You will be responsible for translating architectural, structural, and MEP designs into digital models using various BIM software, primarily focusing on the production of detailed drawings and documentation. Your contribution will enable better visualization, decision-making, and quality outcomes in the construction process. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of the modeling process, and support project teams with innovative problem-solving to meet client demands and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage high-quality Building Information Models (BIM) from conceptual stages to construction.
• Develop detailed architectural, structural, and MEP drawings using BIM software tools.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders for model integration.
• Ensure models comply with industry standards, project specifications, and regulations.
• Identify and resolve design and drawing conflicts with effective problem-solving skills.
• Maintain detailed documentation of model processes and updates for project teams.
• Coordinate with construction teams to support project execution and implementation.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM methodologies.
• Utilize BIM for clash detection and offering solutions for potential clashes.
• Generate accurate quantity take-offs and material specifications from BIM models.
• Support the continuous improvement of BIM processes and model accuracy.
• Participate in project meetings to provide insights and updates on BIM progress.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a BIM Modeler or Draughtsman, preferably in a similar role.
• Proficiency in BIM software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP systems and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to create precise and accurate models.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with construction processes and documentation standards is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
