Job Purpose
- Deliver consultancy services to AESG’s clients
- Act in a senior role in the execution of projects
- Assist in business development activities related to consultancy services
Qualification / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree level in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineer or related discipline with further post-graduate education desirable (e.g., master’s degree), along with demonstrated work experience within the field. MEP qualification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in MEP, with a focus on sustainability and digitalisation
- Experience delivering LEED-certified or other building certification projects and have an excellent understanding of building systems performance
- Professional qualification and work experience with development, and/or implementation of Sustainability Rating Systems such as USGBC LEED, Mostadam, Passive House or equivalent
- Proven track record of successfully leading a sustainability program, policies and regulatory frameworks
- The candidate will be expected to work across numerous software platforms, including Revit, AMTECH, DIALUX and ETAP

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they meet sustainable and digitalisation requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients as an MEP lead engineer with responsibility for technical and commercial delivery of projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Develop in house systems and workflows with a strong focus on automated design via Dynamo, Python or similar.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Generating multiple instances of repeat work with clients
- Preparation of proposals and seeking and winning new work with existing clients
- Client oriented and contributes to commercial success of the division
- Delivery of engineering projects to high levels of quality within project deadlines
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Utilise Revit software to create and manage electrical engineering models and drawings.
- Stay current on industry trends and developments related to sustainable electrical engineering and digitalisation
