Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing all billing operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. You will be responsible for generating invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a strong aptitude for numbers, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. As a Billing Administrator, you will be at the heart of our financial transactions, ensuring that we maintain efficient and effective billing processes that support the overall financial health of the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Generate and issue accurate invoices to clients on a regular basis.
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve any client billing issues promptly.
  • Maintain an organized system of financial and billing records for auditing purposes.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure seamless payment processes.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with clients for timely payments.
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends and process improvements opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on billing activities and financial transactions.
  • Ensure all billable transactions are recorded in compliance with policies.
  • Liaise with clients to clarify billing concerns and provide necessary documentation.
  • Assist in the implementation and adaptation of new billing software tools.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support for client billing inquiries.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of invoices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a billing or financial administration role is required.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office and billing software applications.
  • Excellent numerical skills and keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines consistently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices is highly desirable.
