About The Role

To provide technical leadership and architectural direction for the BASE24 platform, ensuring it is secure, scalable, and aligned with business and industry needs. The role involves designing high-level solutions, guiding development teams, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver robust and future-ready payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end architecture of BASE24 systems (POS, ATM, EPS, TSS) on HP NonStop platforms.
• Lead platform modernization initiatives, including migration strategies, scalability improvements, and integration with emerging payment technologies.
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and development teams to align architecture with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Establish and enforce architecture governance, coding standards, and design patterns across BASE24 projects.
• Conduct architecture reviews, performance assessments, and capacity planning for BASE24 systems.
• Provide technical leadership to global teams, mentoring SMEs and developers on architectural best practices.
• Ensure BASE24 systems are compliant with industry standards (e.g., ISO8583, PCI-DSS, EMV, Remote Key Load).
• Drive innovation by staying abreast of trends in card payments, cryptography, and transaction switching.
• Support solution design for new business requirements, including issuing/acquiring interfaces (VISA, MasterCard, CUP, AMEX, other global and local schemes).
• Lead disaster recovery planning, high availability design, and monitoring strategies for mission-critical systems.
  
  

• Experience in BASE24 architecture and development, with deep knowledge of BASE24-Classic, BASE24-EPS, and HP NonStop systems.
• Experience working with Devops tool and implementing CI/CD pipeline in BASE24 environment in multi region.
• Proven experience in designing and scaling fault-tolerant payment systems handling high transaction volumes.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, interchange management, and device handler configurations.
• Expertise in XPNET, SCF, Guardian OS, Oracle GoldenGate (Active/Passive & Active/Active), and TCP/IP networking.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and tools like Jira.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience in leading architecture forums, technical steering committees, and mentoring cross-functional teams.
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
