Bartender

As a Bartender, you are responsible for delivering a smooth, energetic, and memorable bar experience for every Earthling. You will prepare and serve beverages to brand standards, maintain a clean and efficient bar setup, and contribute to the atmosphere that makes Earth Hotels feel alive. This role is about speed, consistency, guest connection, and keeping the vibe strong - every shift.

What on Earth Will You Do?

• Prepare and serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high presentation and quality standards.
• Welcome guests with warmth, confidence, and strong product knowledge.
• Provide recommendations and upsell beverages naturally based on guest preferences.
• Ensure bar service is smooth during peak hours, maintaining speed without compromising quality.
• Support both counter service and table service depending on outlet operations.
• Mix cocktails, pour wines, and serve beers according to standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Prepare mocktails, juices, and signature non-alcoholic beverages in line with Earth standards.
• Ensure proper garnishing, glassware use, and presentation for every drink served.
• Maintain consistent taste and quality across all beverages.
• Set up the bar before service and ensure all mise en place is ready and fully stocked.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout the shift.
• Ensure all bar tools, equipment, and glassware are cleaned, sanitized, and stored properly.
• Report equipment issues or maintenance needs immediately.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the venue leadership.
• Support daily stock checks, rotation, and correct storage practices.
• Minimize wastage through careful handling, portion control, and clean preparation methods.
• Assist with monthly stock takes when required.
• Coordinate closely with the team to ensure smooth service flow.
• Support fellow colleagues during busy service periods and maintain a strong team rhythm.
• Assist in training junior bar team on basic beverage preparation and bar standards.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and high-energy working environment.
• Record all beverage orders in POS before preparation; follow approved procedures for transfers, complimentary drinks, voids and payments.
• Label and date prepared ingredients and batches; follow approved storage, shelf-life and rotation procedures.
• Record spills, breakages, wastage and stock discrepancies and report them to the Head Bartender.
• Follow responsible alcohol service procedures; refer age verification, refusal of service and intoxication concerns to the duty manager.
• Attend role-specific induction, menu and beverage training, SOP and sequence-of-service training and mock service.
• Support assigned station setup, equipment familiarisation and opening checklists; report missing items, defects and training gaps before launch.
• Follow approved hygiene, allergy communication, safety and emergency procedures; report incidents and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties within training and competence as assigned by management.
