Job Description

We are looking for a skilled, passionate, and guest-focused Bartender to join our team at Rixos Premium Dubai. The successful candidate will prepare and serve premium beverages, create memorable guest experiences, and maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hospitality in a fast-paced luxury environment.

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards and recipes.
• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service.
• Recommend cocktails, wines, spirits, and other beverages based on guest preferences.
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all drinks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control and replenishment.
• Verify guests' legal drinking age and serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with local regulations.
• Process orders accurately using the POS system and handle payments when required.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and current beverage trends.
• Collaborate with restaurant and bar team members to deliver seamless guest service.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and bar setup.
• Handle guest requests and resolve complaints professionally and efficiently.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or upscale bar.
• Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Professional appearance and adherence to luxury hotel grooming standards.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
