InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Greeting the guests warmly and providing excellent customer service.
• Preparing and serving a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, wines, beers, and other beverages.
• Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the hotels beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Ensuring the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked always.
• Taking and processing beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
• Handling cash, credit card transactions, and managing the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Monitoring and managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies and restocking as needed.
• Engaging with guests, making recommendations and answering questions about beverages.
• Resolving any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborating with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
• Participating in training sessions and staying updated on industry trends and new beverage offerings.

Ideally, youll have some or all the following qualifications and experience were looking for:

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a high-end or luxury establishment.
• Excellent knowledge of mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to beverage service.
• Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
