We are currently recruiting for a full time Bartender to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As a Bartender you are responsible to provide professional service to our Guests. Preparing and serving beverages such as mocktails, cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, soft drinks and specialty beverages. To explain the beverage menu items to our Guests, make recommendations when required, and ensure that they are comfortable and satisfied. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Welcoming guests, informing them about specials or new beverage items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Preparing requested drinks such as mocktails, cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, soft drinks and other specialty beverages and serving items to the guests.
• Ensuring beverages are prepared according to standard recipes, presentation guidelines and appropriate serving measures.
• Cleaning and restocking the bar and service areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment, glassware and utensils.
• Learning about cocktail preparation, beverage combinations, spirits, wines, beers, garnishing and presentation techniques to improve beverage quality.
• Updating signage, beverage displays and bar presentations to attract guests.
• Taking inventory and replenishing beverages, garnishes, glassware and other bar supplies behind the counter.
• Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
• Checking stock levels and assisting with proper storage and rotation of beverages and bar supplies.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and fully stocked bar throughout the shift.
• Engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner and making suitable beverage recommendations based on their preferences.
• Adhering to all food and beverage safety regulations, responsible alcohol service requirements and quality controls.
  
  

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a similar Bartender role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software preferable.
