Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee drinks consistently according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming environment for all patrons.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop and equipment.
• Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently and accurately using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain knowledge of coffee brewing methods and stay updated on industry trends.
• Stock and replenish ingredients and supplies, including coffee beans, milk, and pastries.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as per the store's operational procedures.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing daily operational tasks as needed.
• Educate customers about the different types of coffee and brewing techniques.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Address customer complaints or queries promptly and with professionalism.
• Support promotional activities and upsell coffee products and pastries when appropriate.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of coffee brewing equipment and maintenance techniques.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
