Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee-based beverages to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times during shifts.
• Engage with customers to understand their preferences and provide recommendations.
• Operate coffee-making equipment including espresso machines and grinders efficiently.
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure health standards are met.
• Stock and replenish merchandise including coffee beans and brewing supplies.
• Manage monetary transactions accurately and handle a cash register diligently.
• Support team members in maintaining a harmonious workplace environment.
• Assist in the training of new staff members to ensure compliance with standards.
• Participate in developing new menu items and seasonal beverage offerings.
• Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso-making skills.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Capability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• A friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on team cooperation and customer service.
