The Technical Parts Supervisor acts as the operational bridge between Quality, Technical, and Parts Planning teams. The primary responsibility is to identify emerging trends in quality defects, technical issues, and service campaigns—and translate these insights into actionable inventory strategies that ensure optimal availability while minimizing excess stock. This role is essential for maintaining high fill rates and preventing parts shortages.

Internal – Work cross functionally with MEDC and Quality teams on supply chain

In this Back Order & Fill Management Supervisor position

• Maintain a high system fill rate ensuring right part is available at the right time
• Comprehend technical bulletins and ensure accurate parts planning and inventory
• Work with Technical & Quality teams to plan and ensure part availability based on quality failure rates
• Monitor defect frequencies, warranty claims, repeat failures, and statistical quality data to identify emerging trends
• Estimate short‑term and long‑term demand impact per part number and model
• Understand and plan effectively for parts based on seasonality
• Monitor and manage back orders, ensuring timely fulfillment and communication with various teams
• Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Coordinate with Inventory Control team to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet order requirements
• Prepare and maintain reports on order status, and fulfillment performance
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
• Identify areas for improvement in the order fulfillment process and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the fulfillment process
• Train and guide team members on standard operating procedures, and best practices

Now, here is what we need from you!

Knowledge Skills and Experience :

• Min 3 years professional experience in order fulfillment, inventory management, or supply chain management in the automotive industry
  
  
  

Education:

• Engineering (Automotive/Mechanical), additional education in supply chain management is a plus
  
  
  

Skills:

• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Proficiency in SAP, or other inventory management software and systems
• Analytical skills, with excellent proficiency in Advanced MS Excel, Power BI or other analytical tools
