Marketing Manager, Embedded Partnerships

Role

As Marketing Manager, Partnerships at Sokin, you will own the marketing motion supporting our Embedded Partnerships business across the GCC.

Working closely with the Partnerships team, and our central Marketing teams, you will be responsible for turning commercial priorities into high impact marketing activity that builds market education and category understanding, strengthens partner relationships, supports complex sales conversations, and contributes to qualified pipeline.

This is a strategic and hands on role, combining ownership of the partnerships marketing approach with direct execution across category education, thought leadership, content and use cases, partner and client co marketing, sales enablement, and relationship led activations. You will shape plans and priorities, while also taking ownership from planning through execution and measurement, managing agencies, vendors, budgets, and multiple internal stakeholders along the way.

A key part of the role will be helping clients and partners understand the value of embedded finance, payments infrastructure, and platform based solutions, translating complex capabilities into clear commercial value and relevant use cases.

You will also play an important role in building the partnerships marketing playbook for the GCC, adapting proven approaches from more mature embedded finance markets to the needs of clients and partners across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the GCC partnerships marketing programme, with a strong focus on market education, category development, partner engagement, and pipeline contribution.
• Develop marketing programmes that support longer and more complex sales cycles, translating embedded finance and payments infrastructure into clear commercial value and relevant use cases.
• Create compelling thought leadership, content, use cases, and sales enablement materials that support education, commercial conversations, and opportunity progression.
• Partner closely with the Partnerships team on account strategy, opportunity development, relationship building, and pipeline progression.
• Maximise the value of strategic memberships and industry associations through thought leadership, content, events, relationship building, and commercial activation.
• Own relationship led activations, including curated client events, sponsorships, executive hosting, and other targeted engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with central Marketing teams across brand, content, digital, product marketing, and communications to deliver locally relevant activity aligned with global strategy.
• Measure marketing effectiveness and pipeline contribution, using performance insights and market feedback to continuously improve the approach and build a scalable GCC playbook.
  
  

Requirements

• 5 or more years of B2B marketing experience within fintech, payments, financial services, SaaS, or a related technology environment.
• Direct experience in embedded finance, payments infrastructure, platform partnerships, API based businesses, or a closely related area is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of longer and more complex B2B sales cycles, including marketing to multiple stakeholders over an extended decision-making process.
• Proven experience developing category education, thought leadership, content, and use cases that make complex technology solutions commercially relevant and easy to understand.
• Experience creating sales enablement and marketing materials that support opportunity development and pipeline progression.
• Strong experience partnering with Partnerships or commercial teams on account strategy, relationship building, and go to market activity.
• Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, combining strategic thinking with strong hands-on execution in a fast paced, high growth environment.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, and communication skills across Partnerships, Marketing, Product, senior stakeholders, clients, agencies, and external partners.
