Requirements

7+ years Azure Data Platform experience

Experience working in enterprise hub-spoke Azure Landing Zones

Strong networking, API management, identity, and cloud security expertise

Knowledge of Azure DevOPS and Github.

Knowledge of microservice architecture.

Azure Networking:

Mandatory Skills:

VNet Design, Hub-Spoke Architecture, VNet Peering, Route Tables (UDR), NSG, Azure Firewall, Private DNS Zones, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints

Expected Experience:

Working with enterprise hub VNets

Connectivity through centralized firewall environments

Shared services networking

Routing validation and troubleshooting

Azure Data Services administration (Mandatory)

Databricks Platform, Databricks Workspace Administration, Unity Catalog, Cluster Policies, Secret Scopes, Access Control Management, Databricks Networking, Delta Lake, Databricks Monitoring

Azure Data Services

Azure Data Factory (ADF),Azure Synapse Analytics, Event Hub, Cosmos DB, ADLS Gen2, Azure Database for PostgreSQL

DevOps & CI/CD

Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, Release Management, Branching Strategies, CI/CD Automation

Edge & API Layer

Azure Front Door, Azure Application Gateway (WAF), Azure API Management (APIM), API routing and path-based routing, SSL/TLS certificate management, DNS configuration and troubleshooting, API publishing and backend integrations

Required Knowledge

Front Door → Application Gateway → APIM → AKS architecture

Public ingress with private backend services

Path-based routing configuration

Health probes and backend pools

APIM networking and private connectivity

Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

AKS Cluster Administration, AKS Networking, Ingress Controllers, Internal Load Balancers, Private AKS Clusters, Node Pools, Autoscaling, Kubernetes Security, Secrets Management, Container Networking

Must understand:

Internal LoadBalancer services, Private endpoint exposure, Backend API publishing through APIM, Health endpoints, Kubernetes troubleshooting

Governance & Operations

Cost Management & Optimization, Tagging Strategy, Backup & Disaster Recovery, High Availability Architecture, Cloud Governance Framework, Incident & Problem Management, Production Support

Preferred Certifications

AZ-104 Azure Administrator

AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect

AZ-400 Azure DevOps Engineer
