Job Description

The role of an Automotive Parts Sales Executive involves managing and growing sales of automotive parts to both retail and trade customers. This position requires a keen understanding of various automotive components and accessories alongside an ability to cultivate relationships with customers and suppliers. The primary focus is on ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and meeting or exceeding sales targets. Exceeding customer expectations by ensuring the timely supply of parts and providing expert advice on automotive products plays a critical role. This dynamic role involves regular communication with both customers and team members, demanding excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. The successful candidate will have an ability to identify market trends, understand consumer needs, and execute effective sales strategies, ensuring the business not only retains but expands its customer base.


Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective customers and develop new business opportunities in automotive parts.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure an adequate inventory of automotive parts.
  • Assist customers by recommending appropriate parts and accessories tailored to their needs.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all automotive parts and accessories available for sale.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve organizational sales goals.
  • Handle customer complaints and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Update sales and inventory records to monitor business efficiency and growth.
  • Attend trade shows and meetings related to automotive industry to gain new insights.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and determine customer needs and expectations.
  • Train junior sales staff in automotive products knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Develop positive working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets and objectives set by the management team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of automotive parts and accessories is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach to meet sales targets.
  • Ability to conduct analysis of market trends and customer needs.
  • Strong proficiency in using sales and CRM software for tracking sales activities.
