Interested in a career that matters?
Join Process & Technology, Regional Process Automation—a determined team driving automation and operational technology to strengthen and modernize enzyme production across Europe. We work hands-on with process control systems, programming, testing, and continuous improvement to deliver robust, reliable automation solutions that enable stable, efficient production—today and for the future.
In this role, you’ll be a key partner in shaping and delivering Automation and IT/OT investments, ensuring that production needs translate into clear requirements and high-quality project outcomes.
The Role & Your Impact
As Automation User Lead, you will take regional responsibility and collaborate broadly across Global Automation, Engineering, IT, Cyber Security, and Production. Your work will help ensure that automation and IT/OT CAPEX projects are defined with the right scope, justified with the right business case, and executed with strong alignment to operational needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as User Lead in Automation and IT/OT CAPEX projects—from idea and definition through execution and handover.
- Own and drive the User Requirement Specification (URS) for Automation and OT projects, ensuring alignment with production needs and business priorities.
- Contribute to project ideation, motivation, and charter development in close collaboration with Line of Business.
- Drive investment applications and scope definition together with Line of Business, Global Automation, Engineering, Global IT, and Cyber Security.
- Represent the Automation/OT perspective from early project phases through project execution and handover.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
To thrive in this role, you bring the essentials needed for strong day‑one impact:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or a related technical field or a solid technical background with extensive relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Automation and/or IT/OT solutions in industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of production processes and digitalization in production.
- Ability to translate business and production needs into clear technical requirements (e.g., URS).
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across functions and disciplines.
- Ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
- Structured and proactive way of working—comfortable navigating complexity across preparation, execution, and optimization phases.
- Fluency in both English and Danish is required.
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
These are valuable additions to the role, though not required. German language skills would be an advantage. Experience working closely with Cyber Security and/or Global IT in OT/IT delivery contexts is also beneficial. Additionally, familiarity with shaping CAPEX projects early on—such as framing scope, defining user needs, and supporting investment justification—would be a plus.
What We Offer
You’ll join a team where collaboration and practical impact matter. We offer the opportunity to work on projects that directly improve industrial performance and reliability—while partnering with a broad network across Production, Engineering, Global Automation, IT, and Cyber Security.
You can expect a workplace where structured execution, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing are part of how we deliver outcomes—supporting both your professional development and the future of our production capabilities.
Ways of Working
This role is based in our office in Copenhagen, with an expectation to visit relevant production sites as part of preparing for and participating in projects. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across functions, and your day-to-day will combine planning, alignment, and hands-on involvement in project phases from early definition through execution and handover.
Application deadline: 3 May 2026.
