AutoCAD Draftsman (225-914)

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman to join our dynamic team. As an AutoCAD Draftsman, you will play an essential role in creating detailed drawings and plans for various construction and architectural projects. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that designs are feasible and comply with industry standards. Your work will be crucial in bringing our clients’ visions to life from the conceptual phase to execution. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD software.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on designs and building plans.
• Review rough sketches, plans, and other data to develop detailed design documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and industry standards.
• Modify designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing rough sketches and formal drawings in AutoCAD.
• Provide technical expertise and insights in engineering and architectural project meetings.
• Help in maintaining and upgrading the existing design and drafts library.
• Interpret architectural plans and specifications to develop a comprehensive range of designs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders regularly.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging AutoCAD software functionalities and drafting technologies.
• Prepare project-based documentation such as estimates, proposals, and scope changes.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or a similar role for more than two years.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software tools.
• Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering principles and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
