As an AutoCAD Draftsman, you will be an integral part of our design and engineering team, responsible for developing detailed technical drawings and plans used for the production and construction of various projects. Your role will involve using AutoCAD software to transform design ideas into precise representations. You will be required to collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure drawings adhere to specifications and standards. Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and precise technical drawings using AutoCAD software for various projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand design specifications and intentions.
• Revise drawings and plans based on client specifications and feedback from the engineering team.
• Ensure all designs align with industry standards and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of design documents and project proposals.
• Convert rough sketches into solid, readable technical drawings with precision.
• Maintain up-to-date records of all drawings and modify existing designs as required.
• Provide support during the construction phase with relevant technical drawings and documentation.
• Stay current with technological advancements to improve drawing accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in design review meetings to provide insights and suggestions.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve issues encountered during fabrication or construction.
• Implement feedback from quality assurance checks to improve drawing processes consistently.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or similar role in a technical field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software applications.
• Strong understanding of drafting standards, practices, and techniques in the industry.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong aptitude for mathematics and design.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics effectively.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Relevant certification or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent field is preferred.
