Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repair work on a range of vehicle types.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical issues accurately.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot vehicle problems.
• Ensure all repair work is conducted to the highest quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain vehicle issues and repair solutions.
• Maintain current knowledge of automotive technology and advancements.
• Follow safety protocols and workplace safety guidelines thoroughly at all times.
• Document all work performed and parts used in repair work accurately.
• Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and organized environment.
• Order and manage parts inventory to ensure necessary materials are available.
• Collaborate with colleagues to address challenging mechanical issues efficiently.
• Provide training or assistance to junior mechanics and apprentices as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic and repair tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• ASE certification or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
