Re:Cognition Health is a leading provider of clinical services specialising in cognitive impairment and neurological conditions. Our Neurodiversity Service offers expert ASD and ADHD assessments, diagnosis and end-to-end management strategies for children and adults in London and Bristol, and now expanding to Dubai. From first assessment to long-term support, our team deliver a complete, clinician-led pathway build around a flexible and evidence based framework.

Our Autism Practitioners work with families, schools and other relevant professionals, supporting intervention, including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), and broader neurodevelopmental assessments, to deliver a Consultant-led multidisciplinary pathway.

The primary focus of the role is:

1. Support the children’s department by conducting ADOS-2 assessment as part of the overall autism assessment clinic

2. Co-write high-quality and timely ASD reports together with the Consultant Paediatrician/ Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

3. Support the ESDM Specialist with evidence-based early intervention (ESDM, PACT) parent coaching sessions with parents/carers of children with ASD or other developmental differences and document them on the medical record system

4. Support the ESDM Specialist in formulating intervention plans for families and conduct assessments based on Developmental Curriculum

5. Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings as well as in reflective practice groups

6. Contribute to the expansion of the children’s department pathways and services

The Candidate 

To be considered for our Autism Practitioner role, you will have the following skills and experience:

Essential 

Qualified and trained in the UK

Solid experience in the ADOS-2 assessment tool

Available to start in January 2027, on a part time basis

Excellent verbal and written communication

Desirable 

Registered to practice in Dubai or Abu Dhabi

In country, already relocated

Salary/Benefits - negotiable based on experience
