Job Description

An audiologist is a healthcare professional who specializes in diagnosing, managing, and treating hearing or balance problems. They work with patients of all ages, from infants to older adults, helping them improve their quality of life. Audiologists perform hearing tests, fit and adjust hearing aids, and provide auditory training and counseling. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in audiology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid license .
  • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and treat complex hearing disorders.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in using audiometric equipment and computerized health records systems.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to dealing with hearing-impaired individuals.
