• Advise K-12 schools and community colleges on student services and special education matters
• Assist clients with the individualized education program process
• Present workshops and trainings to clients
• Review and revise policies and procedures
• Respond to state and federal compliance complaints
• Handle administrative due process hearings outside the traditional adversarial litigation context
• Build and maintain client relationships with public education institutions
• Conduct legal research, writing, and analysis on education law issues
  

• J.D. and licensed to practice in California
• Minimum 3 years of experience, with a focus on student services and special education law
• Experience or strong background in advising K-12 schools and/or community colleges
• Strong background in special education compliance, including IEP process, policy review, and administrative matters
• Proven ability or experience with compliance complaints, due process hearings, and education-related counseling
