We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Manager to drive the sales and expansion of our hospitality payments solutions in the Middle East and Africa region. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and executing strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is mandatory for effective communication with clients and partners in the region.

The role will be required to achieve revenue targets in line with annual targets assigned by the management.

Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Strategy:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging trends in the hospitality payments industry within the Middle East region.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including target identification, penetration plans, and pricing strategies.

Client Acquisition And Relationship Management

  • Identify, approach, and engage potential Acquiring Banks in the MEA region as well as clients within the hospitality sector, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and other relevant businesses.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Collaborate with existing clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.

Sales Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial prospecting to deal closure, contract negotiation, and onboarding of new clients.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our payments solutions, showcasing their benefits and value proposition.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, addressing client needs and aligning solutions to their requirements.

Regional Expansion

  • Identify potential partnership opportunities and collaborations to expand the companys presence and reach in the Middle East hospitality market by partnering with local Acquirers, system integrators, etc.
  • Develop and execute initiatives to increase brand awareness and market penetration, both through online channels and participation in industry events.

Sales Performance Tracking And Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Generate regular reports and updates for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and market insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

  • Proven track record of at least 8 years in business development, sales, or related roles within the hospitality or payments industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Middle East hospitality sector and its payment solutions landscape.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English languages, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, coupled with effective negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the Middle East region as required and Driving license.
