As an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment activity and support for some of our key business functions. This will be achieved through employing traditional and modern sourcing strategies to ensure we are hiring the best possible talent, whilst actively living our values.
In this role, you will:
Proactively source and engage top external talent—both locally and globally—through diverse sourcing methods including headhunting, job advertising, social media platforms, and employee referrals.
Screen and shortlist candidates by conducting initial phone interviews and administering relevant assessments.
Maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive experience
Collaborate closely with hiring teams to understand role requirements and maintain strong working relationships with line managers.
Provide consistent weekly updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress and candidate pipelines.
Ensure full adherence to the recruitment process, starting from requisition approval to final hiring decisions.
Update and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (Workable) with candidate information, interview notes, and feedback.
Prepare and deliver recruitment reports and metrics as required by the business.
Update the recruitment tracker regularly and discuss hiring progress with the Talent Acquisition Team Lead.
Provide recruitment support to other business areas when needed.
Support and execute employer branding initiatives to strengthen the companys visibility and attractiveness in the talent market.
Stay informed on current sourcing trends and best practices to continuously enhance recruitment strategies
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience sourcing in either in-house or search firm (both would be preferred)
Experience in sourcing positions in the online classifieds or e-commerce sector
Has proven experience in sourcing using a wide variety of sourcing channels to source talent, ideally within digital/tech/mobile apps
Tech recruitment knowledge is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Excellent coordination, organizational, and time-management skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
Proficiency in internet research and social media-based recruitment strategies.
Proactive and efficient approach to sourcing and hiring high-quality candidates.
