As an Associate Sales Director, you will be responsible for executing the sales strategy required to grow and maximise revenue growth for large/multiple areas. You will be responsible for managing the team to success whilst keeping your finger on the pulse and being commercially aware of what is happening in the market.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and supervise the sales team;
  • Overseeing the day-to-day sales activities;
  • Implement action plans to achieve department goals and targets;
  • Coach and mentor Area Sales Managers to develop their leadership and team management skills;
  • Coach and train new hires through deploying training and testing skill sets through mock sessions and role plays;
  • Maintain relationships with our Tier 1 agencies;
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects;
  • Develop and drive the marketing and sales plan to execute generation campaigns;
  • Implement improvement to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales and improve company branding and reputation;
  • Identify market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree
  • A valid UAE license is required
  • Requires a minimum of 7 years of sales experience and a minimum of 3 years of people management experience
  • Complete understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs/challenges of assigned accounts;
  • Strong knowledge of the local market;
  • Is considered an expert within the team
  • Developed communication skills and the ability to negotiate and influence within their team with a high level of discretion;
  • Empathetic communicator to effectively manage their team and resources
  • Hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • A proactive approach to finding solutions;
  • People-orientated
