Job Description

The Associate - Order Management is an integral role within the supply chain and logistics department, tasked with ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately. This position plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the sales team and the warehouse, ensuring that products are delivered seamlessly to clients. The incumbent must possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, as the role requires managing various orders concurrently. Strong communication skills are needed to liaise between multiple departments and with clients directly. Additionally, problem-solving skills are essential for resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the order processing cycle. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for process optimization and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process customer orders into the company system promptly.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
  • Communicate effectively with sales teams to clarify order details and customer requests.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure compliance with clients’ delivery schedules.
  • Manage order amendments and cancellations in line with company policies.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the order process swiftly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and order concerns.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate invoice generation.
  • Maintain detailed records of all communications and transactions for audit purposes.
  • Analyze order data to identify trends and suggest process improvements.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures for order management processes.
  • Contribute to team meetings and provide updates on order management operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in order management or logistics roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Proficiency in order management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and process optimization.
