Job Summary

The Associate-General Accident Underwriting position is essential for assessing and managing risks associated with general accident insurance policies. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance applications and assess risk factors to determine appropriate coverage levels and premiums.
• Collaborate with agents and brokers to gather necessary information for underwriting decisions.
• Review and analyze loss data to identify trends and inform underwriting strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and policy documentation.
• Assist in developing and implementing underwriting guidelines and procedures.

• 2-4 years of experience in underwriting, specifically in general accident insurance.
• Proven track record of effective decision-making and risk assessment.
  
  

• Experience in a fast-paced insurance environment.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
• 1-2 years of experience in General accident underwriting insurance
  
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in underwriting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification in underwriting (e.g., CPCU or AINS) is a plus.
