Job Description

As an Associate in Fleet Operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our fleet services. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for coordinating fleet activities, maintaining operational standards, and supporting logistics processes. Your insights will help improve route efficiency, reduce operational costs, and ensure the safety and compliance of our vehicles. You will collaborate with maintenance teams, drivers, and logistics coordinators to streamline operations and provide customers with timely and efficient services. The position seeks a proactive individual who can adapt to fast-paced environments and continuously seek improvements in fleet operations.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor the day-to-day fleet operations and ensure all processes run smoothly.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules with service teams to minimize downtime.
  • Compile and analyze fleet performance data to inform decision-making processes.
  • Ensure fleet operations comply with current safety and environmental regulations.
  • Work closely with logistics teams to optimize route planning and fuel efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of fleet operation strategies to improve service quality.
  • Liaise with drivers to address their concerns and effectively manage their schedules.
  • Support fleet managers in budget preparation and cost control measures.
  • Implement and monitor tracking systems for real-time fleet management and reporting.
  • Handle administrative aspects of fleet management including documentation and record-keeping.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on fleet management software.
  • Facilitate communication between various departments to ensure cohesive operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in fleet management or a related role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on operational efficiency and data interpretation.
  • Experience with fleet management software and vehicle tracking systems beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for teamwork and reporting.
  • Knowledgeable about regulations related to fleet operations and vehicle safety standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing fleet operation demands.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
