Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Associate for our Fleet Operations team to join our dynamic company. As an Associate in Fleet Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day logistics and maintenance of our vehicle fleet. You will work closely with various teams to ensure our fleet is operating efficiently, comply with safety standards, and assist in the management of fleet-related documents. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling and dispatching of vehicles to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitor fleet operations to ensure efficient usage and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle performance metrics and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding fleet operations.
  • Assist in the evaluation and procurement of new vehicles and equipment.
  • Provide frontline support for drivers to solve operational issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule routine vehicle inspections and repairs.
  • Analyze fleet data to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare reports on fleet operations for management review and strategic planning.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to optimize service and cost.
  • Support policy development to improve fleet safety and operational procedures.
  • Train new staff on processes and systems related to fleet management duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet management or logistics role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this role.
