We are looking for an Associate Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate is a detail oriented and analytical thinker with a strong foundation in engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Candidates should have up to 2 years of experience, be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office, and possess a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role.
The Associate Engineer will be responsible for supporting the engineering team with technical documentation, project coordination, client communication, and cross-department collaboration to ensure successful execution of projects & tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support & Documentation
• Assist Sales with technical input during bids and tenders (product specs, design clarifications).
• Prepare and review technical documents including material submittals, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and ITPs.
• Perform basic engineering calculations to support proposals and design accuracy.
2. Client Engagement & Tender Coordination
• Communicate with clients to gather technical requirements and propose tailored solutions.
• Support tender negotiations in alignment with company policies and project objectives.
3. Project & Submittal Management
• Track and update submittals to ensure timely approvals and actions.
• Participate in internal and external meetings to align technical deliverables with project timelines.
4. Technical Issue Resolution & Control
• Address design-related queries and provide accurate technical solutions.
• Organize and manage all technical documentation in compliance with regulatory and project standards.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Production, Operations, and Management teams.
• Ensure seamless coordination and execution of technical requirements across departments.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field)
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in a technical or engineering support role
• Internship or academic project experience in technical documentation or project coordination is a plus
• Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially MS Word and Excel
- Understanding of basic engineering calculations
- Sound grasp of engineering fundamentals and technical drawing interpretation
