About The Role

Seeking a skilled Project Engineer who will be part of the Large Projects Team based in our Dubai office to manage the execution of HVAC projects. The role includes managing the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems, project planning, professional communication with customers, and team/sub-contractor management.

Role Responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

Project Management

• Oversee projects from initial inspection to completion.
• Generate project scopes of work, develop project plans, and timelines.
• Review and submit all project engineering documents (method statements, risk assessments, technical and material submittals, etc.).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  
  

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Implement best practices for system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
• Maintain current knowledge of HVAC industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  
  

Team Coordination

• Collaborate with internal departments, team engineers, and field technical staff.
• Report on project status, risks, and issues to the project manager and project team.
  
  

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Risk Management

• Assess and mitigate risks associated with projects.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
  
  

Quality Assurance

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality control.
• Ensure all project activities adhere to quality standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to maintain project quality.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in HVAC project engineering or management, with a record of delivering large and complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP) will be advantageous.
