Your key duties

We are seeking a motivated Associate Dry Utilities Engineer to support the planning, design, and coordination of dry utility networks across some of the region’s most ambitious infrastructure and masterplanning projects.

As part of our regional infrastructure team, you will be responsible for:

Dry Utilities Planning & Design

• Support the design and coordination of dry utility networks including:
• LV power distribution, street lighting, and associated ducting
• Telecom and ICT networks
• Utility corridors and multi-utility tunnels (where applicable)
• Assist in developing utility strategies within urban and regional masterplans.
• Prepare and review utility layouts, design calculations, and technical design documentation.
  
  

Technical Delivery & Coordination

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil engineering, structures, transport, environmental, and urban planning.
• Assist in producing technical reports, presentations, schedules, and deliverables for clients and authorities.
• Support utility clash detection, corridor optimisation, and spatial coordination.
  
  
  

Standards, Modelling & QA/QC

• Apply relevant UAE authority standards (DEWA, Etisalat, du, RTA, etc.) and GCC utility guidelines.
• Maintain design assumptions, calculations, and documentation in line with established QA/QC processes.
• Support modelling and analysis using standard civil and utility design software (training provided where needed).
  
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in dry utilities design within consultancy, engineering, or utility sectors.
• Understanding of UAE authority standards (e.g., DEWA, Etisalat, du) is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation is beneficial.
