About the Forensics Service Line

Our Forensics team supports clients in identifying, analysing and responding to financial, operational and integrity-related risks across a broad range of sectors. We combine investigative expertise, data-driven analysis and deep technical capability to help organizations uncover the facts, protect value and uphold regulatory and ethical requirements.

From digital forensics to fraud investigations, our team employs cutting-edge techniques to uncover crucial insights and provide actionable intelligence.

With a commitment to precision and integrity, we deliver clear, objective findings that stand up to scrutiny by boards, regulators and legal stakeholders. Our team provides practical, reliable and integrity-focused solutions to help clients achieve clarity, compliance and resolution

As an Associate Consultant some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting background research on clients, industries and risk areas, including spending time on-site to understand business operations, processes and key stakeholders
  • Assisting in other assignments within risk services including but not limited to expert witness reports, financial crime, and anti-bribery and corruption reviews
  • Preparing working papers and maintaining well-structured audit trails to support conclusions and recommendations.
  • Analysing financial and operational data to identify anomalies, trends or indicators of risk, misconduct, or control weaknesses
  • Drafting clear, concise and factual investigation reports, findings summaries and supporting documentation for clients, internal stakeholders and legal teams
  • Assisting in reviewing risk policies, procedures, systems and controls and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Studying towards a relevant professional qualification to build technical expertise and enhance your ability to advise clients
  • Communicating confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner in both written and verbal form, including presenting findings to managers and clients where required
  • Assisting in the preparation of proposals showcasing our services and detailed methodology to prospective clients
  • Collaborating with team members across levels to support effective engagement delivery and knowledge sharing

  • 6-12 months of relevant work experience, ideally within risk advisory, investigations, audit, compliance or a related field
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics or other related fields
  • Actively working towards a professional qualification such as CFE, ACAMS, ACCA, CA or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong business intelligence and foundation knowledge of latest industry, regulatory and risk trends
  • Proactive and reliable, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining strong quality output
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation capability with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English. Any other languages is advantageous
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Excellent analytical, numeracy and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Able to identify and discuss issues early, with the team leader, and contribute to finding solutions
