Job Description
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and filings in accordance with legal requirements.
Prepare and review board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate governance documents.
Provide guidance on corporate governance matters to senior stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
Support the legal department with drafting and reviewing legal documents.
Monitor regulatory changes and advise on their potential impact on the organisation.
Assist in managing relationships with regulatory authorities and external consultants.
The Successful Applicant
A recognised qualification as a Company Secretary or equivalent in the legal field.
Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing legal and governance documentation.
Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
