Assistant Storekeeper

James L Williams Middle East (JLW) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Storekeeper to join our Stores team and support our growing Data Centre projects across the UAE and KSA. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in store operations, inventory management, and material handling within the MEP, construction, or engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily store activities at project sites.
• Receive and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling, and preservation of materials in accordance with project specifications and HSE standards.
• Issue materials based on approved material requisitions and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse/store.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or obsolete materials.
• Maintain records of tools, equipment, lifting accessories, calibration certificates, and fixed assets.
  
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the MEP construction industry.
• Experience in handling tools, equipment, and fixed asset records.
• Good knowledge of documentation and inventory management systems.
• Physically fit and able to work in project store environments.
• Good communication skills with the ability to read and write English (Hindi speaking is preferred).
• Good understanding of material storage procedures and workplace safety practices.
• Willingness to work in the UAE and KSA as per company requirements.
