Primary Title: Assistant Store Manager (Retail Operations)

A fast-moving retail employer in the Consumer Goods & Specialty Retail sector, operating customer-facing stores across the United Arab Emirates. We deliver curated product assortments, strong in-store service, and efficient operational processes to maximise sales and customer loyalty. We are hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support store leadership, drive operational excellence and elevate the in-store experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day store operations to achieve sales targets and operational KPIs, including opening/closing and cash reconciliation.
  • Coach, schedule and motivate frontline staff; deliver on-the-floor training, performance feedback, and shift supervision.
  • Manage inventory processes: oversee stock replenishment, conduct cycle counts, reduce shrinkage and liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries.
  • Execute visual merchandising and in-store promotions to maximise conversion, basket size and seasonal planogram compliance.
  • Resolve customer escalations promptly to maintain high service standards and promote repeat business.
  • Enforce cash-handling protocols, loss-prevention measures and compliance with UAE retail regulations and health & safety standards.
