Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the store to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager in setting and achieving sales goals.
  • Supervise and support staff to ensure smooth store functionality and high morale.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy and availability.
  • Implement store policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and service.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to improve skills.
  • Handle customer concerns and complaints to ensure satisfactory resolutions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas of improvement.
  • Facilitate merchandising and promotional changes to maximize sales impact.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the store.
  • Participate in recruitment and onboarding processes to bolster the store team.
  • Act as a role model of professional behavior and store management practices.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business is a plus.
  • Minimum of three years of retail management experience or similar field.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building customer relationships.
  • Proficient in inventory management and retail software applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
