Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses and doctors in providing comprehensive patient care services.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rates.
  • Help patients with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and feeding as needed.
  • Ensure all patient documentation and medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and ensure a clean working environment.
  • Assist in the transportation of patients and in safe patient handling techniques.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff promptly.
  • Support the maintenance of inventory supplies and manage stock levels efficiently.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to improve patient care plans and strategies.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during treatment.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification or equivalent recognized certification.
  • Minimum of one-year nursing experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized healthcare provider.
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to established procedures.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
