Job Overview

We’re looking for an Assistant Merchandise Planner to support our Planning team in delivering commercial, data-driven merchandise plans for a fast-paced luxury e-commerce environment. The role focuses on reporting accuracy, inventory control, and analytical support across pre-season and in-season trading, ensuring stock is aligned with demand, OTB targets, and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Planner / Senior Planner in preparing weekly and monthly trading reports, performance tracking, and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Developing a strong understanding of category, brand, and department performance to support the identification of risks and opportunities.
  • Supporting OTB, forecasting, and budgeting processes through accurate data compilation and basic analysis.
  • Assisting with continuity and seasonal reorders by preparing data in line with OTB guidelines and trading performance.
  • Supporting inventory management activities to improve availability, sell-through, and overall stock health across the e-commerce platform.
  • Executing allocations and reorders accurately and within agreed timelines, following defined processes.
  • Monitoring weekly replenishment performance and tracking receipts against forecast.
  • Supporting the setup and tracking of replenishment SKUs in coordination with replenishment counterparts.
  • Highlighting potential stock risks and opportunities and escalating findings to the Planner / Senior Planner where required.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date data across planning tools, Excel trackers, and reporting systems.
  • Analyzing trading and inventory data to support buying and planning decision-making.
  • Continuously building knowledge of Ounass planning tools, systems, and planning best practices.
  • Working closely with Buying, Digital, Commercial, Finance, Logistics, and Operations teams to support day-to-day execution.
  • Participating in cross-functional meetings and supporting action tracking and follow-ups as required.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and adapting to evolving merchandise planning systems, tools, and best practices at Ounass.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Someone coming with 1-2 years of experience.
