As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to oversee the daily operation of the salon, ensuring every client receives a premium experience. You'll support the team, manage day to day operations, help drive sales performance, and ensure Brau's high standards are consistently delivered across all areas of the business. Responsibilities
Support the Store Manager in the day to day running of the salon.
Deliver an exceptional client experience from check-in through to check-out.
Manage appointments, optimise the salon schedule, and ensure artists' diaries are running efficiently.
Handle client enquiries and resolve complaints professionally, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Support the management of team rota's, annual leave, and appointment schedules.
Complete daily financial reconciliation and ensure all sales records are accurate.
Drive retail sales, treatment packages, and upselling opportunities across the team.
Monitor daily and weekly sales performance and support action plans to achieve store targets.
Conduct daily team briefings to communicate sales targets, promotions, and business updates.
Maintain accurate client records and ensure consultation forms and customer profiles are up to date.
Support inventory management to ensure retail and professional stock levels are maintained.
Proactively manage maintenance issues and ensure the salon always meets Brau's presentation standards.
Ensure all company SOPs, operational procedures, and hygiene standards are consistently followed.
Support compliance with government requirements, audits, and salon documentation.
Step into Front of House duties whenever required and provide support across all areas of the business.
Lead by example, motivate the team, and contribute to a positive, high-performing salon culture.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in a management or senior Front of House role within the beauty, spa, hospitality, or luxury retail industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable client experiences.
Commercially minded with a proven ability to drive sales, retail performance, and team targets.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using salon booking systems and reporting software.
Strong communication and problem solving skills.
Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Knowledge of salon services, beauty products, and operational best practices is highly desirable.
