Job Description

The Assistant Manager - Strategy & Transactions is a dynamic role that involves critical analysis, strategic planning, and the execution of transactions within the organization. This position is vital for guiding and supporting high-level strategic initiatives and ensuring their alignment with the company’s financial goals and objectives. The Assistant Manager will work closely with senior management to identify business opportunities, develop robust business strategies, and execute transactions that drive growth and long-term value. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial modeling and market trends. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for facilitating communication between various stakeholders, ensuring that strategies and transactions are executed smoothly and effectively within set timelines.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends to identify potential strategic opportunities and risks thoroughly.
  • Develop comprehensive financial models to support business strategy assessments and decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior management to design and implement strategic business plans effectively.
  • Lead transaction processes, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures with precision.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders highlighting critical transaction insights.
  • Conduct due diligence and valuation analysis for potential mergers and acquisitions opportunities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of acquired businesses.
  • Monitor and report on the long-term views of financial performance post-transactions.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, investors, and key business partners.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal company policies during transactions.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and development.
  • Provide strategic input into annual strategic planning and strategic financial forecasting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy, finance, or transaction roles preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional financial modeling and valuation skills are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Proven experience in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
