Job Description

The Assistant Manager - Sales plays a vital role in driving the sales team's performance and achieving revenue targets. This position serves as a bridge between the sales manager and the sales team, ensuring that strategies are effectively communicated and implemented to maximize sales opportunities. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the sales staff to mentor and motivate them while also analyzing sales data to help refine sales strategies. Additionally, they are responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and managing day-to-day sales operations to optimize productivity. This role requires an individual who possesses strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a results-driven attitude.


Responsibilities

  • Support the sales manager in planning and executing sales strategies effectively.
  • Analyze sales metrics and generate reports to evaluate team performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to sales representatives to help meet sales objectives.
  • Coordinate sales training programs to improve team efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional strategies with sales goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or a related domain.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading a team successfully.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools is highly desirable.
